脱硫用煤质活性炭采用优质煤为原料，以先进的工艺设备精制而成。其外观为柱状颗粒或不定型颗粒状，具有很大的比表面积，合适的孔隙结构，机构强度高，能经受高温、高压作用，不易破碎，易于再生，使用寿命长等特点。
   广泛应用于热力电厂、炼油、石油化工、化纤工业中的烟气脱硫，化肥工业中原料气脱硫，煤气、天然气脱硫及其它化学工业中的气体脱硫，是制作二硫化碳的**添加剂。
